How do i make a switch deactivate a pad

Hey, i have a switch and a pad controlling the same CC number (one toggles, one is a momentary pad), and i want to make IF the switch is on, then the momentary pad doesnt work. How do i do that?

Depending on which sort of not working you're after this thread should help.You got me wondering about different ways to stop the pad CCs from getting sent; found thread by searching "disable pad".

Speicifically in this case I'd go with this solution (both switch and pad send on CC 21, channel1, target 0, the pad output must be configured inside its script where ctlout is used)
