Wifi and Internet Issue.

I'm using Lemur on a Macbook Pro via Wifi. I create a network on my MacBook, and connect to it via that. I have no issues, except when I do this I lose access to the Internet.
It's not a major problem. But, I recently purchased Touchable2, and noticed that it comes with an application that creates some sort of network on my machine, and I can still remain connected to the Internet.
Does anything for the Lemur exist?
