E key not working 5.0.3 Windows 8.1

Hi, trying to use the E key to operate a patch and after pressing the key, i can move the mouse round for about a second and then it just stops - no mouse presses/movement are registered until I release the E key, so it's just unusable.

Make sure the Filter Keys option is not enabled in Windows 8.1.

Hi, does anyone else have this issue? Has never worked for me since moving to 8.1...

Most of the time it doesn't matter as I have my ipad with me, but it does stop me working on laptop alone...
