Lemur in Background?

I can't get Lemur to run in the background. I have pressed the toggle in setting to allow this, but when I am running a sequence from the cool new sequencer template, it stops or hangs when I leave the lemur screen. Any one else had this?
Can you please give me more details about your setup?
- Connection method (Wi-Fi / MIDI hardware)
- iOS version
- OS & DAW version
- Other MIDI controllers connected
- Lemur template
Basically, if you can give me a step-by-step description to reproduce the situation that would be very helpful.

It seems that templates that contain canvas objects are not running in the background.
For example, try this template

Confirmed here! Canvas doesnt run in background
There seems to be an issue with Background MIDI in some cases with Canvas objects. Confirmed and reported, thanks.
If its of any help I noticed recently that the problem with "background" midi and canvas is only appearing when canvas is set to always redraw.
