Midi timing delay?

Greetings -

I am trying to figure out how to delay a signal by 60-90ms. I am sending sysex to an Oberheim Matrix 6 that tends to choke on certain sysex changes, but when I insert a delay of 90ms into y Bitstream 3x, it works much much better. There is allready a template someone made for the 1000/6r, I'm wondering how possible it is to insert this "delay" into any of the sliders etc?
