Trouble with Wifi Midi, iPad and Mac

Hello all,

My son got an ipad for Christmas and I thought i would take up the great sale offer on Lemur

I am trying to get LiveControl 2 up and running, I have watched the vids and have tried to get it all going as per the tutorials, though I am stuck at first base.

I can't get the ipad to connect to the Wifi network I have created (as tutorial) What may be a cause for the AirPort symbol not appearing after set up?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Running:

iPad (pre lightening) 64G 7.0.4
MacBook Pro 10.6.8
Lates Lemur app

should be possible with two network adapters.

Does the airport symbol appear now on your iPad? Are you on iOS6 or 7?
