Unable to see Lemur application window

Hi all,
I'm looking forward to getting started with Lemur, but on my main machine (Mac Pro), I am unable to see the application when it is running. I can tell it IS running, it appears in the Dock and I can see the minimized window when I select to see Application windows. I've gone through an un-install and a fresh install, it didn't help. Any suggestions much appreciated. I'm on latest version of Mavericks, the machine is 2008 Mac Pro, 32GB RAM.
