multi-pads singlepad mode

hey there, I am still a bit troubled when it comes to scripting - Is it possible for the pads to work in a single-switch mode? e.g. that only one pad can be selected at a time? thanks for your help, jost

The Pads react only when they are touched, they are not "switches" per se, they are "push buttons" - so what you are saying is that you want an array of pads to react only to one touch and ignore the rest?

Sorry for asking, but is it so difficult to just try and not hit more than one pad with your fingers?
