Search directories for filelist?

Weird question, I am scripting impaired, more of a Quartz guy... New to Lemur, but already a huge fan.
Q. - Is it possible for Lemur (thru scripting) to search a directory, get the filenames of all of the movie files in that directory, and then populate a series of Monitor objects with the names of said files?
My first glance says no, but the scripting is tooo deep for me except on a very basic level to have any real clue as to the possibility.

Nope, not possible - in fact Lemur's scripts can only access other parts inside the Lemur template - nothing on the outside....
Well nothing besides MIDI and OSC....
If however you had a third-party software that would look into those files, get the names and then send them via OSC to Lemur....then yeah..it would be possible..
