is a major overhaul of the original template.
feedback on the drummap working (setup to midi1) all velocity/led levels , using the 8 bit binary method as on the original hardware.
paint on all 64 performance pads , including parameters (using the launchpad85/95 remote script)
rapid led update as on the original hardware, so that it should work with all software as expected.
included the mac handshake, bothe sysex messages are in the same script the mac one doesn't interfere with the windows message but don't know if thats the case the other way round.

got rid of the custom buttons for transport and window management, i figured you could add your own.
oh i nearly forgot i included an iphone/pod template too L'Podv2, Stick it in the the synthstation 25
i've included a Setup pdf . just remember the feedback uses whatever port you have set to midi1 in the daemon.

Just noticed the guy who wrote the launchpad85/95 remote script has updated the 95 significantly . So this version of L'Pad
May not work as expected on the user1 mode , if using that update , as 95 is live9 only .
So it Looks like the launchpad will have a large amount of the functionality of push but without the display.
Even the display may be possible if they used a variation of the mackie protocol and line liine gave more access to the display within lemur. So incoming messages could be converted, within lemur , something I managed to do for the alphatrack display using external conversion. If that we're possible .

So Some feedback from anyone with live 9 is needed me thinks. In fact feedback from anyone using software other than live would be useful too.

I am unable to get this template to work at all. Using Live 9 on Mac OSX 10.8.3, I have tried the Launchpad95, Launchpad95-colour and the standard Launchpad scripts. I am quite sure that I have configure midi outputs,inputs, etc. correctly (Mu worked perfectly when I dropped it into Live) and have tried various combinations of settings in an attempt to get it working. I have a 'real' Launchpad which works properly too.

Any ideas? Any help would be gratefully welcome.

first off great job. Origianly cool Now better. Hey I would like a version with the drum map. I took that pout of first for personal use. I justed tested
with something I just got (http://www.fabriziopoce.com/download.html j74 iso controller I tested max patch and remote script. both work stock with lp2
what didn't work was something I have for push emulation with lauchpad called lpc ditto its from native kontrol you get it if you get it if you own lpc live. I own 2 launchpads which I use use a lot. would still use if I one day get push. what this should be good for and Ill I have to wait is the sonic faction sequencers. they have not been update for live 9 yet.

Wow this is very interesting - if Im understanding correctly perhpas I just found what I 've been looking for the last couple of months - and maybe a Lemur controller for it may appear soon!

the drummap should work with both basic launchpad and launchpad 85/95 scripts its not a seperate container like version one its user1 just like the hardware
it looks like the 95 script has an alternative drummap option.
looks like the lpc ditto is a preset for midi translator is that right? does it not work at all or does it partly work? i would have thought it would work though

Yeah it uses midi translator and 2 controler scripts the push script and glyphx script so midi translator handles all midi conversion I believe. I too may have something To share with community after I test my custom launchpad setup with your new patch. It didn't work with the original. And I've got to see if I can make a max patch to do what I'm using midi translator for. this setup will make looping in ableton easy. Without using looper.

Its probably the mt translation that's conflicting , although im sure i covered everything that the hardware responds to . As per the launchpad programming reference .Actually You could use my midi monitor module in the modules section to monitor incoming messages, just drag it from the library to lpad2 and delete when done.
I suppose mt could be bypassed and do the conversion in lemur, doing it that way a max patch mat not be needed too.

Having said that push uses a similar handshake to apc40 , so your mt preset must contain that solution , now that would be interesting knowing that.

i wish i could look at it midi translator player patch..Cant open midi translator player patches in midi translator. that handshake would be great for all. I want to use some of the functions of push in my personal live lemur template. not to give too much away reason for max patch is i use a midi controller with Launchpad together and only want 1 midi in. you can use midi translator to take multiple midi inputs and route to 1 out just like midi ox. kind of like a midi patch bay. to make what im working on avalible the easiest way would be max patch not everyone has midi translator. and max player is free.

did you have to replace the stock push remote script with a modified script when you got lpc_ditto?

No use stock push script. That get fed midi translator player in and out. Then I have to have use glyphx script in control preferences but no midi in or out selected and have to edited. That script with. One line of code. That's say using glyphx in push emulation.

hey wul, first off thanks, i love this template so much.

however, the new one works kind of sporadically for me. if i start a new session it's good to go for the most part, but in older files it doesn't seem to work or it will work after a while. not sure what do... thoughts? also, running launchpad95 and albeton live 9

Yes it looks like mac users have to inhibit the windowz. Sysex hex message , having both messages doesn't appear to affect windowz users,

Wow Wul! This thing rocks, finally had some time to really try it out last night and it's really really nice! Works perfectly with Launchpad95 script (OS X)! Everything seems to be working as it should! I see how close this is to the Push now so understand how you went that way! Thanks again for sharing your awesome work! Also looks way better than v1

I've downloaded the Live 9 trial to try it.
So,I'm not a A.Live user and never used any launchpad ,and I don't find how to make it work.
Can I get a basic "how to" please?
