Sequencer position feedback

Hello there
Iam working on a OSC interface for Numerology (a really great midi sequncer software) And I was wondering how I can make some kind of sequencer position feedback, that sends the step position from Numerology to the Lemur ect. Leds or custom buttons, so they light up when played.
I know this is possible with the Novation Launchpad and Touch Osc. And Antonio Blanco have also done something similar in his Lemurized L3 Template.
