Am I Missing Something?

Just bought a CCK through ebay (not official apple one, since they're like $40, from a high rep seller though) and a USB>MIDI cable (splits the midi to in/out), and I've got it routed through my Presonus Audiobox USB's MIDI ports. I've set up Live to receive MIDI from the Interface, but I'm not getting any packages being sent.

Can anyone let me know if I've missed a step? Or if my hardware is incompatible (I shan't be getting an iConnect any time soon, trying to save for a Xone 4D).

Edit: It appears that my CCK is unsupported, even though I bought it specifically for my model :s

I think the problem is the 'not official apple' bit . . .
Sometimes that means 'not exactly the same' . . .
Beware the same thing with Lightning cables and new iPhone connectors . . .

Pay the premium for something that works, same as you would with any audio decision . . .
