When I tried to load some template (1 out of 3) in Lemur Editor 4.0.1, either by dragging or opening the .jzml file the software craches everytimes.
I am on a windows 7 environment with Ipad and I've tried it on 3 different computer.

exemples: Mashy crashes but Traktor Pro doesn't

Can anyone help me or have the same problem.
Try to switch to classic skin before loading any templates.

I have repeated crashes of the editor if "shaded" or "pixel" skins are selected and bipolar knobs exist in the template. I also have sent the Windows error log that appears after the editor crash to support.

Meanhile, not that I want to play smart or really know anything better than the devs but because Im sure such a huge malfunction wouldnt have passed so this means it didnt crash on them, Im wondering if there is a connection of these crashes and the fact that some users may have localized versions of OS (different language from English). I recall onetime a similar problem with another windows application I was using - saving any of its projects in localised named folders would crash the app....
Haha, you beat me to it Softcore. Yes I had some templates crash the 4.01 editor, but also found that switching to classic skin in editor before loading those templates fixed it, and they loaded fine after. Didn't try any other skins to see if those also stopped the crash, but certainly Classic skin did work. Cheers. Editor running on Win7 32bit, and iPad 3 still on iOS 5.11

Did you try with several different templates, or just one in particular. Reason I ask is that the first two templates I tried loading in the editor after I upgraded both crashed the editor, but then I tried several others that I downloaded and they all loaded fine, so I figured it might be the new skin setting which was set to Pixel after the upgrade.

Try this. Open the editor and select Classic skin, then close the editor and reopen it. That will make sure classic skin is set as the default skin, as if the you open a template straight after changing the skin setting and the editor crashes, it will reopen next time with the earlier setting. Once you have reopened, try loading a few of the simpler templates such as the factory ones. If they open again then try the ones that crashed the editor earlier. Also, try opening the template directly from windows explorer by double clicking on the template file, rather than trying to open from within the editor. Let us know if that works.
