Restrictions of USB2MIDI as against to WI-FI

Hi,

am I right in thinking that e.g. keyouts or keycomboouts won't work over MIDI?
Or is there a way to make it work?

I think you would have to map MIDI notes to keystrokes using something like Bome's MIDI Translator and from there on to something like Autohotkey (do stuff).
