Midi script for a CustomButton

I'm trying to create multiple buttons to trigger my sampler banks. Can someone help me with the script needed so that the button turns off when the sample finishes. right now the button stays lit until I touch it again.

It may depend on the particular sampler and what feedback it provides via MIDI as to the state of its operation
Really need more info and deeper info - MIDI implementation data . . .

I'm triggering the sampler in VirtualDJ. I got it to trigger all 12 banks with a volume fader for each but when the sample ends the button stays lit. I also don't know if I should use custom buttons, switches, etc.
