Cubase users - Strange Mackie issue

Having a strange issue with record arm and mackie protocol, it's driving me nuts. I've attached a jzml file of the transport bar, which is set to Midi0 and works fine with Mackie Control until you arm a track in Cubase
The issue: (i have Cubase set to manually record-arm tracks)
As soon as you record-arm a track the light settings on the transport bar get screwed-up. Any ideas?

Looks like the only way to solve this problem was to recreate the transport bar again. Must be some bizarre bug
