Ableton Live and Sysex

Hey guys!
First post to this forum; woo!
I have just setup Lemur and with the "iPad - Keyboard" template I can play the virtual keyboard in Ableton Live like expected. However, I just tried the (Oberheim) Matrix 1000 template and there´s nothing happening... I have a sneaking suspicion that this is due to Ableton Live not recognizing sysex messages (yes, ableton live doesn't handle either sysex or NRPN.. ) so the messages from the app are actually being filtered out from Live... anyone experienced the same thing with sysex and Live? Just to confirm (again) that Live´s MIDI handling is not exactly great
Oh, and I tried to search for a previous thread about this but couldn't find it.. sorry in advance if this has already been discussed
