hello, id imagine this to be a quite trivial solution involving some networking glitch that i have, but i been trying for 3 hours!
Deamon sees lemur fine, everything is ok in that regard
lemur editor cannot detect it at all
im trying to set it up with traktor at the moment, havent got it working with any software packages as yet.
any ideas what maybe wrong here?

are you on a Mac or PC?
PC running windows 7 (64 bit), everything in theory should be upto date, i just purchased the app today and downloaded the lemur editor today.
Try entering the iPad's IP address directly into the Editor's connection window then press connect. Lemur must be currently open on the iPad.
My editor connects fine when I do this but it has never listed the iPad in the connection window for me to select (as the manual suggests to do). I'm also on Win 7 x64.

i have tried that, and no dice - i may have used the wrong IP address though, what would you suggest would be the best way to find out the IP of the ipad for sure before i say "it didnt work" ?findbuddha wrote:Try entering the iPad's IP address directly into the Editor's connection window then press connect. click Start, type cmd, type ipconfig.
that would get the ip on my PC - i found a way for the ipad, will try and return with results.Phil999 wrote:click Start, type cmd, type ipconfig.
thank you - it worked... was very tricky getting the IP address the ipad was connected to internally on the ad-hoc network, but everything seems fine now

besides, I think making static IP addresses on both the wireless network adapter on the computer and on the iPad is making things easier. You will always have the same IP.
